The most sincere and humble Brothers of the Red Onion declare as a magnificent and wonderful goal the quest for good beer, Christian Fellowship, and a deep and abiding philosophy of philosophizing.
Let me start by saying this is quite possibly the best high content I have had to date. This is a thick black as night beer. It's not overwhelmingly chocolatey like I thought it would be. Not sweet like Sam Adams and or the raspukin Stouts. and at 10% I was really expecting it to be. Nice Head of carmel colors, great grainy aroma, and the chocolatey subtle aftertaste. Great beer with this one. Shame that bottle states only brewed for the winter of 09-10. Get it while you can, seriously, this is a great brew. I flipped a coin on between this and a coffee/chocolate stout. Will be trying that one next paycheck. Can't wait to put the last one in Mustachio's hands to see what he thinks. Before I knew it, I blew through 3 of these, they are that good! Luckily I was laying in bed watching a netflix movie on the laptop cause at 10% these puppies pack a good punch also.
