  1. I am not a Pale Ale fan, but wow. I could get in trouble with this brew. It's bitter, don't get me wrong but a couple of mouthfulls of this dry nectar will have you wanting another bottle. Big Thumbs up to the guys at Michelob for continuing to test the micro path with these brews. Guys I will have this for our next meeting, Hopefully. It's dry, pretty bitter but definetly smooth. Well done!! 4.5 Monks on this on.

  2. This is great that the Illusive Brother Red likes an IPA. I wonder what dunkelstein thinks about the IPA. Hopefully we'll find out at the next meeting. Geez, Count Dante will have a hard time getting some of this stuff in the land of the vikings. Maybe he should stay here for the beer. Monks withheld until further examination.

  3. A great documentary on how Pale Ales are made and consumed.

  4. Does that mean that the great flyingJ doesn't appreciate the rich and bitter taste of the IPA? This is so much better than Fakebook, I mean Facebook.

  5. Facebook stinks to the same degree IPA's taste.

  6. I wouldn't mind trying this one against, say a Flying Dog IPA and maybe Sierra Nevada's Torpedo. Those three would make for a good get together when the weather warms up...

  7. Helps when you post and comment as yourself on these huh. Anyway, I absolutely loved this one, usually I agree with J, I don't like the pale ales much at all. This one however, was awesome, Haven't been able to find this in a stand alone 6er, just part of the 12 pack sampler, which for us isn't necessarily a bad thing. And with publix having them on sale for 12.50 a 12 pack, you do the math. Like mustachio says, just like a sore pecker, can't beat it!

  8. I revisited this tonight with the Wrenster. Then again when I got home, and the wife loves it too. Think I will visit it once more before the night is over. This stuff is as good in the bottle as it is in a glass. I wish they put this is 6 packs I think I've got a new favorite here. Maybe I should petition the guys up in St. Louis to go ahead and make this one a keeper. Happy Birthday bud!!!

  9. Wow, a fantastic birthday present. This is the best IPA I've had so far. It was actually better mid-bottle. I really appreciate what Michelob is trying to do with their craft beer line. For the taste and the price, these are good beers. Thank you , Brother Dunkelstein!
